This plant was designed to meet the following effluent requirements for direct discharge into Lake Huron:

Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD): 10 mg/L

Total Suspended Solids (TSS): 10 mg/L

Ammonia (NH3-N): May-Sept. 1.0 mg/L

Oct-Apr. 2.5 mg/L

Total Phosphorus (TP): May- Sept 0.5 mg/L

Oct.-Apr. 1.0 mg/L

Fecal Coliform: 200 org/100 ml

This installation is equipped with a ROTORDISK ^TM unit for BOD removal and nitrification, chemical addition for phosphorus removal, a BUGS Filtration Unit for polishing, and a UV Disinfection Unit.

The attached test data indicates that the treatment system has successfully met the effluent requirements specified in the Certificate of Approval.
